pay close attention, the kobalt stuff and craftsman are the same. Kobalt is a little cheaper. My top and bottom craftsman boxes were about 1200 and i same thing in kobalt later for almost a hundred bucks less.

I've been trying to find one for me too, for the same price/size chest about.. you can get the regular Craftsman, or the Ball Bearing Kobalt.. both have warranties, and Ball Bearing is nice.. so I might go with the Kobalt..

Snap-on for sure if you really want it to be your last box. I went through a craftsman when I was younger then traded in my Mac box as a down payment for a Snapon KRL. Double row bearings(you can sit on the drawers). Stainless top you can Tig weld off of and beat on. And best of all 0% interest if you have a good relationship with your Snap-on man.

I've got an 11 drawer craftsman, and an old 13 drawer craftsman that my dad gave me. Both are full of tools and never had a single problem.

I'd definitley go with a Snap-On or Mac.. Even Matco. Look inside a Craftsman, and a Snap-On. Inside meaning take a drawer out. You'll notice a Snap-On is painted on the inside, and Craftsman usually isn't. Ballbearings or not, there are other things to look at when it comes to quality toolboxes. Be careful though, you don't have to spend big bucks and get a 20 foot wide box to store your tools.. I do remember one thing, the shop foreman where I worked used to always tell the new guys that almost always get sucked into buying that huge $17,000 toolbox from Snappy : "A big badass toolbox isn't worth a thing if you don't have any/enough/quality tools in it." I've got a Mac Gatornationals special edition box, it's taller than me and just as wide. Not the most expensive box, not even the best quality, but that bitch is full of Snap-On and Mac tools.. I've probably got about $60,000 worth of tools in a $2,000 toolbox.

ah but snap on boxes are double walled constructed were as matcos are single and its easy to break into a matco box if you know how

the boxes are nice, but i can't get myself to buy an exspensive box. i would rather spend the money on tools. there's a few 12 foot boxes at my work. the guys have to use flat bed tow trucks to move them.
