Oh yeah....more psi....faster it is...i went from 145 to no pressure switch at all....and damn...those 3/8 valves are damn near blowing up....but my truck locks up fast as hell.....well as fast as 3/8 goes...
Hell yeah . I have 3/8 on the galant thats as fast as I would want on most anything that i was gonna be driving alot.
my valves are at the very back of my truck and the front is quick, im runng 200psi
how many tanks do you run if you have one for the front and one for the back that could help or the easiest way would be to just up the pressure i run my truck at 15o psi and the front hauls ass up and after that i can still hop my bed and i only have 3/8 valves i turned my switch up to 200psi once and hopped my front end 3 inches with the same valves so just up the pressure
i have a 92 GMC with a 5.7 i have 145psi pressure switch , 5/8 line from tank to valve, 3/4inch valve, from valve to bag is 1/2inch...on air its not retarted fast but i lift up a lil faster than 6 sec. , you sure you dont have any kinks ??
The reason it's faster to have the valves closer to the bag is because when you fill the line between the valve and the bag the psi will drop in the tank. The most noticable thing you can do to make it faster is of course put in a bigger pressure switch but moving the valves closer does make it faster and doesn't waste as much air.
