New Member from So Cal with a 86 Square body

Hey everyone, I'm Jimmy. Just recently sold my lifted 2002 GMC Sierra, and purchased a 1986 Crew Cab C30. Feels real nice to get rid of a $350/month car payment! I've been wanting to get a dually for years, so I finally got one. I own a fab/custom shop, so I have alot of big plans for the truck. I was lucky enough to find one that was already lowered, satin blacked, and had a new 454 TBI motor in it. Also has candy red powder coated 19.5's on it.
Plans for it include full air ride with custom 4-link out back. Full shave with suicide rear doors. All new interior with updated later model seats. And for now, I think I'm going to leave the candy red wheels. Going for the hot rod look since its primarily a shop truck.
Really glad I found this site. I knew there had to be a forum specific for dually's out there.

Glad to hear that there are other members on here from OC? how many are there?

My shops located in Buena Park, off of Beach Blvd. and Orangethorpe.

So far since I've owned it, which has only been two weeks. I smoked the cab lights, rear fender lights, and front turn signal lenses. I painted all the chrome rings around the tail lights and running lights black, as well as the plastic sections around the headlights. I'm planning on painting the grill black, door handles, and mirrors. Also got all the windows tinted.
I just picked up a set of custom door panels also. They are wrapped in tan and red tweed, and have the billet inserts in them. Hoping to get them in this weekend.

Yep, i was looking for awhile. didn't get that many responses. One day I was leaving my daughters school, traffic was bad, so I cut through a neighborhood, and saw the dually I have now sitting out front of this house with a for sale sign on it. And turned out that was the one I ended up getting.

After spending some time on this site, I remember talking to one of the other members on here about his truck. Name is nick. I was really close to picking his up about two months back, but my truck wasn't sold yet. Had people claiming they was going to get it, but all fell through. gotta love the flakers!
