It looks like it is mounted up in front of the engine next to the radiator right? My only question though is what about when the engine moves? When you rev the engnine the compressor would stay stationary & the engine would move a little. I guess it may not move as much though since it is pretty centered & not off to the sides. Very creative cause there isn't much room to work with.

ok bigrigs gave me the idea also we went to a junk yard and pulled a pulley off a 80s r22..and mounted it to the ford waterpump pulley...then welded a bar across the frame rails with the mounting plate already welded on and he has had it on for well over a year with no problems

oyeah total cost was maybe 100 bucks for hoses, filter, and compressor, and steel

has anyone put a york compressor on a 3.0l ranger engine?? just want to know how, i dont want to buy a york compressor if it will not work.. I am worried that if i put it where the a/c pump is that it will hit my throttle linkage.. help please cause i really really want a edc on my truck...
