o.k. here's the deal... I have a 4 channel amp but one channel is not working. What would be the best way to wire the amp to 2 subs and recieve the best performance out of the amp? Diagrams would help alot. Off to work i go... check responses in the morning. Thanks!
well First it depends on what ohm load the subs are and if they are dual voice coil or not. $ channel amps suck for subs. Also does the amp have a crossover built in?
$= 4 channel amps. Sorry got a lil carried away with the shift button
bridge them to two of the working channels on the amp.
again that depends on what the ohm load will be
does the amp work in bridged(mono) mode with that one channel blown? alot of amps will not play bridged with a channel blown. what amp is it? what subs?
probably better off getting a bigger sub amp and using the 4 channel for what it was meant to do...highs and mids
4 channel is a waste of time... put it on some mids or highs...get ya self a mono block
