we are cleaning my frame this weekend, gonna use a pressure washer to knock anything loose off, then wire wheel it, clean it with a metal prep, then using a kit from eastwood.com that comes with a quart of rust encapsulator (similair characteristics of por 15, but ALOT better) and some chassis black.
my dads friend had a cab dipped about 10 yrs ago, and it was close to 700 dollars if im not mistaken.

Eastwood.com has a resolver that takes shit off. Works kinda like that aircraft paint remover stuff. Put it on let it sit then it comes right off.

Don't use acid ,will weaken the frame! Soda blasting is the best way. Or use one of PRO-15's products, stops rust & seals the metal.
