hey a customer has a 2003 monte carlo ss and has some 22's he wants to put on it but there is a bracket that hits the wheels(it holds the coil spring) i want to basically lift the strut only. Is there someone out there that makes a kit to do this?

i dont think theres a kit, but def gonna have to lift the strut, and not just the body....i have the same problem on my impala to be able to clear 22's..i would just cut the tab off the cylinder of the strut, raise it up a lil, then weld it back on, but that will be a lil tricky...good luck!!

thats why i said it would be tricky to do it...you would have to like tack and cool, tack and cool...had a cavalier that i gave to my bro, and we depressurized the struts, and made em in to air struts, worked awesome

The new body style impala that we had at the shop with 22's actually had spacers to bring the rim out to clear the strut.Thats the only way ive seen 22's on it.
