haha waaaaaaayyy back is right.

And everyone: I would have had an IAS rear on my old mazda but a week before Slamboree the polished buggy tank hadnt shown up. I knew Slamboree was a must go, and the truck got featured that weekend, so I never put it in.

Larry however bent over BACKWARD to get it to me, sending it 2nd day (try that with freight some day) and including some explicit instructions as well as shocks and hardware. The clip was beautiful, high quality work, and the rx rear bolted right to it.

Recommend

Larry

highly.

wow what a response this thread got. I was wondering how many people would be interested in this topic becuase I am considering making rear frame clips to sell for all of the IRS setups. I made my own rear clip for my truck. I think larry is right though, selling these would be difficult because most poeple are making their own if they are cutting their trucks in half.

I wouldn't mind paying for a back half even though I could build it myself because I dont have the time to set everything up and I can be a little lazy Ha Ha .

I am Larry from Innovative Air. After putting a 300zx IRS in my own truck ( green flamed isuzu in minitruckin' mag in july 2001), and seeing the interest it generated, I decided to make a universal weld in back half for the rx7 rears. At first they sold ok. But what I found is that anyone that is confident is cutting their truck in half, is also confident enough to try to build the frame themselves. I still have the patterns, a demo chassis to copy, and a rx7 rear on a jig ready to build from. And I do several a year still. I don't push them. And since they are done one at a time, I can do a lot of custom things. Including cantilevers. Supra and others aren't a problem either. If you guys are not familiar with me and my work, visit my website at www.innovativeairsuspension.com and you can see some of my work at http://community.webshots.com/user/lkechols

And thanks guy, for the compliments.

Well I can build it, if you can afford it. I am very up front about the fact that my work is not cheap. My work is all tig welded, I have my own in house machine shop and chassis table, and I can supply what ever you need built.

Mike, I promise the next time I have something in here that I think your readers would like to see, I will work with you on an article. I have been doing to much rod and custom work lately, and not enough truck work. I am going to try to hit a few summer shows this year with my old 4x. Danger zone and Drop zone are high on my list. Hopefully I will see you there.

Russ, late congrats on the feature. That truck looked so sweet. You guys did a great job.
