what did everyone do with the hoses going into the heater box

i believe you can just get a plastic barbed fitting and loop them together

fluid in there is pretty hot

Just loop a piece of hose between the 2 sides on the engine side of the firewall, then you can shave the holes from the firewall

i was thinking that but im pretty sure on my dime there partially steel too

you ought to be able to cut the steel back enough to fit a hose .
