smoothing and painting questions

i'm going to smooth and paint my whole interior and have afew questions on the dash and door panels. they are stock panels that seem to have a little padding in them, so i was wondering if i used the high build primer on them (like i'm doing all the plastics) will they crack the paint or will the paint have enough give in it?

you'll need to remove any vinyl off the panels, sand down the foam padding, then resin it and sand smooth, then use a high build primer on that. I think that is the process.
