how clean the jamb looks depends all on the metal work and body work done after the hinges are installed.. ive seen some pretty smooth installs with jasons kit!

Modification of the Month
Here's a different take on a modification that people have been doing for decades. It's a '98 Chevy S-10 that's received the suicide treatment by Lee Phillips, owner of Hotridesmag.com. All of the one-off parts were built and designed by Lee, and consist of hinges that are cleaner and stronger than some other kits, since they don't connect to the doorjamb for support. The hinges are made of 5/8-inch-round rod that protrudes through a frenched slot in the door. The doors still swing the full 90 degrees.
thanks man i lost that magazine so i just didnt know. and soon i am going to school in london ontario called fanshaw to become a fabricator and i can easily make those with the equipment that they let me use.
THOSE ARE CUSTOME MADE. I SAW THEM IN MT A FEW MONTHS AGO. THEY WERE GIVIN PROPS TO HOW CLEAN THEY LOOKED. NOT TO SURE WHICH ISSUE IT WAS BUT I KNOW I SAW THEM IN IT.

Thanks for the props guys .. I did do this and I have just completed this mod again on my extra cab S-10 . This pic is from a customers ride . This picture was the in the FEB 2006 issue of Mini Truckin' for the " modification of the month " . Special thansk to Mike Alexander for shooting that . Suicide door hindge kits are very primitive so I built every part of these one off for a much cleaner look than a big and bulky 2x2 box tubing welded in your door with a piece of flat bar coming out of it . Also makes it alot stronger . Im sure alot of you have saw people lifting their doors so they will latch , lol . Thanks for the props Sam and everyone else. See you guys at a show in 2006 !
