just bought myself a 81 luv....whats the biggest wheels i can tuck with a 5 or so inch bodydrop??

i have an 86 with a 4 1/2 with 19 ' wheels with a 215 35 19 i cut the rockers and it lays within an inch of the doors check out my profile

killer pup man. thats about where i want mine b/d to. i measured about 4" tho. anyways. diod you have to z the front end to lay flat rails? im waiting on my BYC control arms to finish laying out the front. right now im bout 2.5" away

nah but it was layed out in 2000 so i couldnt get any suspension parts so i steped the lower control arms 2" by the ball joints.i layed 18's like that ,but recently i just built all new control arms,mounts, and engine cross member but you dont always have too. i never had too z mine,but the engine cross. did hang a little till i drug the excess off. hardest part is fitting bags in the front easily. the control arms on these are about two inches shorter than the 88-95 model, any questions your welcome to e mail me later

so your sayin id be fine with a 4.5 in bd,,,i wanna run 18s with a 35 or 40 series tire.. the reason i wanted a 5in, is that fatbastards green pup has a 5.25 in bd and runnin 16s with what looks like plenty of room... so im thinkn 18s and 5in bd...shouldnt that work
