any one know the proper way to make brakets for a hydralic cylender for mac strut? i was goin to do this http://www.layitlow.com/tech/suspension_strutsmake.shtml the guys on layit low said you shouldnt weld on the cylender. any help would be great. Im ordering 6in and 8in prohopper comp cylenders when i get an answer its going in a 98 altima should i use factory top mount or make a powerball fit up there. thanks for help.

if you take the cyl apart and have someone tig weld it you wont have a problem you just need to watch the heat so that it dosnt warp the metal and it will be fine.the othere thing you can do is make a sleev to fit over it that has the lower mounts already welded to it and slide the cyl into it.
