I've heard a good rule of thumb, is about $1000 /inch. Give or take. Depends on the truck, tire size, etc.

not always. when you stock floor a truck you are cutting the frame, thus lowering the beam resistance in that frame. you have to be extremely careful on how you do it and is not a very good idea for a daily driver. personally i like the traditional bd a whole lot more. i would rather sacrifice some head room than frame strength

If it's done like it is supposed to be, the frame is actually stronger than stock.

no offense on your opinion, but I completely disagree. My old mazda was stockfloored and was a daily driver, and not one problem at all. If the frame is build by someone who has no clue what to do, than yeah, it wont be as strong as a stock frame.

If a SFBD is so weak compared to a stockframe, then why are all these people doing SFBDs instead of a traditional.?

Back to the subject, most people vary on prices, depending on where you live. Some do $1000 per inch or more. Then you have to remember it will be more if you get a new frame from the firewall back instead of just under the cab. There are alot of variables that determine the price. Call shops that are located around you and get a price quote from them all, and also go down to the shop and ask to see work they've done before. You dont always want to go to the cheapest place, bc your truck may be a hackjob and not work a dime.
