If you decide to go ifs, the new ranger is about the worst there is. The asymterical control arms will camber as much or worse, and the positioning of the rack and pinion will cause about 20 degrees of toe out when laid out. Go with a street rod mustang 2 kit. They make dropped spindles for it, and the rack will keep your tires much straighter through travel. But what would I do , I body dropped a ranger on I-beams and 20's to prove it could be done. Yes it was stock floored and had a 4.0.

later this month, ill be making a crossmember that slides in over the Ranger frame and welds in like A Mustang II and uses control arms with Toyota spindles and brakes.

sort of like a minitruckers bag version of the Mustang II

pics on my site as soon as the first one is done.

do you have to use drop beams to make the front of an 86 ranger lay out???
