s10 guage cluster question???????

This is what I was wondering, if a 2000 s10 w/o tack guage cluster still work if I want to switch over to a guage cluster w/tack for my truck. Would the plug for the cluster w/o tack work for the new cluster w/tack?

sure itll plug in youll still need to runa tach signal wire though

you wont have to run the tach wire, it is already back there, just plug the new one in and it should work.
