the only thing is that they are soooo easy to make now that i have a set. i plan on disassembling them and drawing out the parts in cad or solidworks just to have refrence if i ever decide to make a set. very simple components.

They are very simple in design, hell, it's just a hinge.... but people fuck em up all the time trying to do em themselves.

i would imagine the key things would be bending the hinge itself correctly and making sure the pivot point it perfectly aligned but nothing a jig cant fix.

if i were to do it i would definately try to get the hinge metal it self EDM cut instead of bending flatstock.

i made my own, i had the plans so it was easier. even with plans it took almost a week to make them. if you don't think you can make them hagan makes the best hinges on the market but they are 399.00http://www.haganstreetrods.com/thcart/view.php?retid=HHH
