Newbie from the great state of TEXAS...
Man this is a kickass site..
I've been thinking of building a 87 single swb dually with full air-ride for a while now. I have a 2wd 87 swb that has been wrecked(but nothing major) and a 79 dually with no motor/trans and a couple different dually rear ends(one full widtha and one cab and chassis). I think the combination of the two would work out nicely..
I have a set of 22.5" alcoas but they have not been milled down yet, but I'am workin on that..
Everyone tells me it will probably ride like a log wagon but, it will look whipass...LOL..
welcome and who cares how it rides if it looks cool
Looking cool makes up for the ride. You can always fix the ride.
hey who on here had the shop that built one. I think it was flat black. Shitbox style.
That was the only stanard cab dually I've ever really liked.
oh and what up..sorry..single track mind
Welcome...screw ride quality. It's not that bad, you want ride quality buy a caddy...on second thought i'd probably just end up bagging that as well, so forget the whole ride quality thing altogether and ride with advil in the glovebox.
welcoem to the site bro,, like everyone has said bag it and who cares, if u build it right it will ride liek a caddy so do what u wanna do
Thanks for the replies..
Anyone have any pics of a single cab sortwheelbase dually?
