Using it on my s-10 project (Sadistic Sled), I'm currently getting it shortened it, but it's working out pretty well for me

they are strong solid rearends and pretty easy to shorten if needed. Should work out good.

The biggest issue is probably going to be the bolt pattern which is 5x4.25(108mm). Not too many wheel options. The rear hubs can easily be redrilled or you can use Mustang Cobra hubs which will yield a 5x4.5 bolt pattern. And yes they do have to be cobra hubs in order to match the 28 spline axles.

Check out http://www.mn12performance.com/ if you need any poly bushings for the rearend.

Kustomwerks does a lot of work with the T-bird IRS. They built my upper and lower control arms for both. Also you can get ahold of LaynRockers (John), he redrills hubs so he'll be able to answer those questions for you.
