Pulled my Chevy LUV with a squqre body Dakota last year to Dustoff. Granted it has no motor, trans, interior.

diesel trucks are the way to go if your pulling a load and want somewhat decent mileage. but they are expensive and smelly.

I rock a Nissan Titan with the tow package and i think it's a damn good tow pig!!! I get about 12-14 loaded towing

Definatly get a diesel. The fuel milliage is so much better than with the same size gas truck and they generaly last longer. We can even get you more MPG. I work at TS Performance and we make performacne modules that increase the milliage of all diesels.
