switching rearend from maz to hardbody

wuld it be possible to switch the front setup and rearend off a mazda to a hardbody? need to know cause want to use the 5lug wheels from the mazda on the hardbody...

ok is the mazda a 5 lug now? should be pretty much the same w/ a few differances i would assume. paging russ d!

The bearings in the front hubs are not the same, and it doesn't seem worth it to modify the whole front end to use the mazda arms and what not.

The hardbody front bearings and certain year toyota front bearings are supposed to be the same.....see where I am going. hub swap.

The toy parts should bolt right up....there used to be a tech article on www.nissanminis.com

While you are at it....pick up a mid eighties toy rear end, it's narrower, and the same five lug pattern. Just have to do whatever is necassary to hang it in the back of your truck.

OOPS my bad....i'm a retard, yes the mazda rear can go in the nissan. Just have to modify spring perches or four link mounts....whatever you have???

I don't know if the brakes will be a big hassle, but I wouln't think something couldn't be worked out.

You will also need to have the driveshaft modified also.
The mazda rears are geared high, so I don't know how it will drive.
