solex and weber?

webers are italian (some made in spain) and solex's are made in Germany.

Solex was an OEM producer of carbs, for BMW and VW and Triumph etc. Look like the made a simple 2 bbl and are marketing it to undercut the worker strike that inflated Weber prices over the past few years.

Looks like a great carb, 34/34 is just about right for a 2.2 mazda, and you cant argue with the price. Anything is better than that stock Nikki carb.

well russ-d that was my outlook on it also and about the info i had but i respect your opinion as you really seem to understand and love to learn new things all the time. so i wanted your input.

i have solex on my vw's and i hate them
