anybody chk out that show on espn2 after truck stop? its called 'chopper nation'. they had shop tour and bike build feature for von dutch. it was damn sick, actually. they eplaining that all the commercial success has given them the opportunity to have a huge shop w/ all the latest equipment/machinery they need. its a double edged sword. on one hand, it seem they're sellin out; on the other, they're still building innovative bikes.

here's the bike they showed on espn.

heres an intersting qutoe from an atricle"Those who admired Von Dutch were devoted - many of them travelled the country to have their cars "Von Dutched". To them, the rise of Von Dutch Originals is a cheap money grab by his daughters: the appropriation of an underground legend's symbols for money, with no respect for his legacy."

Yeah its pretty sad that corporate america has made millions off of someone they know nothing about. He was a great man. If you want to support him without selling out he has a book that they sell at most major book stores and it is very very well put together with tons of photos and history on the hot rod icon. They also have a calander that is bad ass as well.
