anyone been frauded by leo smith???

has anyone been frauded or had a fraud attempted by a person named "LEO SMITH"???

this person contacted me via e-mail, he requested to buy my 50cc honda motorcycle that is on the ssm site. he told me that he would be sending me $4,000.00.

I only wanted $1,000.00 for the bike. he told me that he wants me to take $1,000.00 + an extra $150.00 for my troubles, and send the other money back to him through a shipping company.

if you are not aware of this, he is trying to launder money by sending money to one person and having the money sent back to htem, which makes the money untracable.

please be carefull of this person, if your contacted.

Dude, it's not money laundrey. It's called counterfeiting. He sends you a bad check and you cash it and send him the money, then the bank tells you the check was a fake and you owe the money back.

that is exactly what he was trying to do, it might be old news, but its good to remind people of the threat.

i work for wells fargo and have had 25 acts of fraud in the last 2 weeks. alot of them are by people who were to trust worthy.

yeah bro i had like 5 emails a dday from scams like that, they were all fromthe uk??????? I had my truck for sale on ssm classifieds. Problem was after all those emails i did not know who to trust

i had the same thing happen with a PERSON named AMANDA HUGINKISS when i got to the airport and called out his name people just laughed at me....who knows.

Yeah, This happen to me on a frame that I put in the SSM Classifieds this summer. The guys name was Mark Johnson.

He called me one night using a relay service for deaf people with the same story...

dude, i read somethin about that kinda stuff on ebaumsworld a long time ago, it might sound stupid but when they announce the name it sounds like they are saying " a man to hug and kiss"
