mike,
i don't think anyone was bashing you, so there's no reason to be so defensive. as i've said in the last thread, family comes first (especially around the holidays). i think everyone, myself included, was just wondering an approximate date on their stuff.
sorry if i'm buggin the sh*t out of you, just getting a little anxious. i'm at a complete standstill on my toy till the arms show up. can't weld in the inner fenders or firewall tubs or wire it all up till i know where everything will sit.
thanks again
corey

I am not bashing in any way. I have been nothing but patient for a LONG time now and now I am just tired of waiting. I am tired of seeing that people that have been waiting far less time have gotten parts ahead of me. I am tired of the fact that I have been super nice for the duration and it has gotten me nowhere. I am tired of the fact that it has become a joke to all my friends and family whether or not I will ever get the parts that were paid for in March when they were ordered. I really haven't said much of anything about it up until now and I know stuff happens. I kept it in e-mails and off SSM for as long as possible, but e-mails get me nowhere. Now my enduring patience has run out and I want my parts so I can put this truck that I am not even very interested in anymore back together and get rid of it so I can start on something else.

hey Mike i got a ranger lower arms and a trans crossmember from you. The crossmember raised my trans height and that concerns me, also you said they you made it so it clears the exhaust but mine dosent. I dont know if it makes a difference that i have a flex fuel engine in my truck or not? Also I was just wondering if you had come up with anything on why the arms, it is already causing wear on the bushings and i have only been driving it around my shop!

nate are you a customer? someone waiting for parts?

Lowmaz, the trans crossmember raises the trans a little so the whole thing clears the ground by about an inch when the frame lays. if you dont have the front Zd and laying frame then you dont really use that extra inch of clearance.

I hear the flex fuel trucks have a longer cat. Ive seen some long cats that come close to the trans crossmember. you need to raise the exhaust a little on regular trucks. just cut or bend the exhaust hanger and raise it an inch or so.

I hate to push this thread off track, but I'd like to see some pictures of it completed if possible.

I'm waiting on a set of arms and was told that the uppers were done and mike wanted to try a longtravel ball joint on the lowers. Said as soon as he got a chance to try a few out and see what works with the colorado suspension that he'd have the lowers done and ready to ship. So since yours is done hopefully that means I'll be getting my arms soon.

I actually redesigned the uppers and lowers. basically just made the bag sit different on the lowers and made the tubes com into the balljoint plate a little different.

on the uppers I just made the balljoint plates a little larger so theres more area to weld to around the tubes. I may also make the uppers adjustable like 4 link ends.

as soon as this Colorado leaves tomorrow ill be back on control arms fulltime.

ill be making several sets at a time of S-10, 88-98 GM fullsize, Toyota and Dakota. when I finish all the backorders of those, ill make several of each of the other things I sell.

in between doing all the above I also have a few old orders of some other stuff ill have to work in the mix in my spare time.

the whole poing is that Ill be able to get back to making several sets of each item which saves alot of time and helps me catch up.

thanks to you guys who have been patient and you guys that havent, Im sorry and Im trying me best to do better in the future.
