Im still getting Toyota ready to ship. Corey Dawsons went today finally and also a set of Ranger for another guy.
JP, Terry Stevens and others are next.
the tube sleeves are the change in the S-10 line. the old style hot rolled plates are not very condusive to tig welding.
also Im finishing some fullsize GM and S-10 arms this week as well as an adjustable Ranger set for a guy in Florida.
every please know that now that Im makign several of each thing, im actually making very good progress. plus as I have said, this allows me to have some product to sell and get more materials.
Ill have more DOM tube tomorrow and Ill ship more Toyota stuff as well.
JP, I hope I have your address, Im sure I do but email it to me just in case.
Terry Stevens already emailed his.
also I picked up the screw in balljoints today. theres about 6 different ones that are useable and ill make a trip to the wrecking yard for some spindle checks one night this week to see which ones I can replace with screw in balljoints.
the main ones Im trying to replace are the fullsize Dodge, Colorado, Dakota, Ranger lower, 99 up GM, Ford F-150 and a few others.
I was awy from the shop half the day yesterday afternoon so if you emailed me yesterday, be patient and ill answer those emails in the morning when I get to the shop.

I apreciate the effort you are making as do all the others. I haven't seen a reference to the Colorado arms. Are you going to get to them soon? Just wondering on the timeframe??

Mike, I think those Dodge screw in balljoints will fit the 73-93 spindles.
if not then Ill probably use a GM one and a press in sleeve.

Ben, your Isuzu arms left yesterday thru the USPS, remember its 4 to 10 days travel from Texas to down under lol.
Yes I will do the Colorado stuff as well. I have the changes made to the original set and they should be fine as well.
the Colorado balljoints (stock ones) dont allow much travel. so Im worried that the arms will work great on one truck but some other truck with a different wheel size may not lay out or may not get full lift.
Im still looking for a different balljoint so I can sell the arms with balljoints. Id rather have the sets be complete with everything ready to bolt on.
the Colorado being so new I may have to live with using the stock balljoints tho.
the S-10 arms are shipping at the earliest by the end of this week. I really need to stick to this plan of getting all of one thing done before switching to something else. going back and forth costs me so much time.
the good thing is that when I get to make a bunch of S-10, ill be able to have some in stock finally.
I also have been doing this:
I got down a stick of 2" DOM tube and cut all the bushing outer sleeves for the Isuzu, Ranger, Mitsu, GM fullsize, S-10 and Dakota all at once. I cut tubes for about 4 hours one evening and about 2 hours another evening. then I also got down the 1&3/4" DOM tube and did the same. the import arms use that size.
I then cut the inner sleeves for the poly bushings for each as well. I went thru 2 chop saw blades in a little more than 6 hours.
I still need to cut more bushing sleeves and inner sleeves. I will do that when I get to work late again this week.
I wasted so much time before getting the tubing down, setting up the saw stops and cutting just enough for one set of arms.
the bending of tubes is the same way. Ill save more time on those as well this week. I planned on making 2 or 3 extra Toyota sets after hours or over the weekend before I put the jig up.
I have 6 stands for jigs and all of them have a jig on them.
the good thing is if I get the time, Ill cut the 1" tube for the Toyota parts, and then the Mazda and Nissan use the same tubes with the same bends the same distance from the bushings. ill be able to get those tubes cut and bent at the same time and save more time.
then when I do build more Nissan and Mazda ill have less time in them and those will go faster.
thanks
