heres my idea .....
You have a main character, hes in his mid-late 20's works for a beer distributor, (hey beer logos in movies help pay for the movie, its called advertisement) he makes good money, shares a house with a male roommate (roommate is best friend and is mechanic on big rigs or for the city, makes really good money and drives a wicked ass turbod small block chevy old body style reg cab short bed S10 and smokes all the import kids in thier "fast" cars) they are both in a truck club (some made up club for example something like Lowered Styles or some shit like that) theres also 2 other friends 1 of them is a tattoo artist, big guy, fat if possible, bald, piercings , covered in tats, he drives a old school nissan hardbody covered in a kal koncepts style paint job and the other guy is a skinny nerd who is a computer geek who maintains the computers for the states motor vehicle department and gets his buddies out of thier too low and dragging tickets all the time. They are all great friends, they fuck with one another ... brothers. bros before ho's kinda shit, they go to cruises, truck shows, really big on live music scene (a great way to break new and up in coming bands) and nudie bars. Then theres the All Knowing and Wise old school guy, in his late 30's early 40's, he works on thier trucks, always offers advice, owns his own shop, builds dope ass hot rod suspensions makes incredible big bank cause he charges out the ass for his 1 off custom work but has a soft spot for the truck guys and always hooks them up and cuts them deals and the old school guy has a family & kids he gets along with everybody and everybody knows him. Ok the main character is at work, he gets a new route (promotion, a lil bump in pay)hes happy, he goes to one of his new stops and meets a smokin hot girl around the same age as him that runs a nice bar / pool hall (not a dive, classy place) shes a smart witty girl, good head on her shoulders. She tells him she has to get something out of her truck, they walk outside to a STOCK nissan frontier (older body style like brandts) she says she just got it from her BROTHER. The 2 of them hit it off, a few weeks go by and she blurts out why he hasnt asked her out, well hes all wrapped up with his truck ( a 87-96 chevy/gmc b/d 20-22 combo, nice single color paint, nothing really fancy about it, cept it being a super clean truck that does a good job at pulling awards) and his friends, and hanging out, she thinks hes gay cause it appears hes not interested but from there they hit it off and go on a date. his buddies raz him about the girl and the date but he goes anyways, he picks her up in his truck, they go on a date, then theres more dates and then comes a weekend truck show somewhere like Greenville or THW. He ask her if shes interested in going and she says yes (shes all into his truck, loves it when he drags it) they have thier weekend at the show, they ended up sleeping with one another for the first time yadda yadda yadda
He gets back, tells his homies that he has fallen in love, girl this girl that, they get pissed and him .... well she doesnt want a relationship, her job keeps her busy and she has her reasons why she wont comit to him. He gets all butt hurt and heart broken, she calls him up, they go out a couple of times after that he thinks its going to change for the better. it doesnt and he gets slammed AGAIN, well his route at work gets changed again and he doesnt see her again ....... UNTIL ..... a local truck show, he is showing his truck with his buddies, its back to the days of old with them hanging out together. They are walking thru the show and come across this shaved out body dropped pink frontier on 19's, truck is f'n incredible, detail is awsum, the guys are having a fit asking whos truck it is, where did it come from, whos is it ? ...... well its the girl from the bar, you see her older brother is the same guy who is the old and wise minitrucker and he built it for her. shes always been into trucks and hot rods but her brother kept her away from those guys to protect her, thats why she didnt get into a relationship with her. Well the old minitrucker is there, he over hears what she says, and gives his blessing for them to be together, says that they belong together ... blah blah blah and the dood and the chic drag off into the sunset living hapily ever after ....

ithink i feel asleep readin that booger, thats every mini truckers dream haha. i could care less bout a minitruckin movie but i have a pretty good idea for a movie w/ a car as a focal point

i like the idea a documentry also and i dont think people will like it if ther not into the lifestyle. people i work with tell me all the time there is no point in what i do "all that money just to make it go up and down thats dumb and then tear it up on the road" so i dont think it will be the new thing like rice with people popping up everywhere
