why's it gotta be a Bama home man... c'mon. Nobody ever picks on MS or TN! TN is way worse lol. Anyways, Ernie those TearDrop deals are OUT THE ASS exspensive. My advice would be a small pull behind travel trailer. It's gonna be hard finding anything in that price range that is worth a $hit, BUT at least with a travel trailer theres less chance of expensive problems. Any RV is a money pit, but pop-ups you'll have to be concerned with the cable/lift system either being bad or going bad, which is a pain in the ass. Plus they are aggravating as hell to crank up and down sometimes. Keep your eyes peeled for a good used Travel Trailer. We call them Hunters' Specials here b/c all the Hunters want a $500 camper they can go sleep in out in the woods lol. Good Luck.mike

its funny to those that say good luck, ive seen about 15 here in my area alone for less than a grand. IM just looking for the right one. the reason i asked on here is its always better to buy one through a friend cause you get a better deal.

im going to look at an 18 foot travel trailer right now for $500 bucks. so well see how it goes. i think this might be the one. bu tget back to me on that coleman pop up.

a pop up would be my last resort since i know those always tend to break.
