trust me nobody wants to see it done more than me! thanks for the props.To answer dudes question in the original post, I know of 2 95-up Blazers that were BD'd with a 4.3L, one ran a stock hood the other had a 2" cowl. The Cheetah Blazer has a cowl with the stock 4.3L plastic intake tube if I remember right.mike

i was thinking Matt at Kustomwerks used a stock hood on the Gator but apparently not.in the pic of the motor though, it looks like he ALMOST could have? Maybe he just wanted a cowl? lolI know you can shorten the plastic intake and save some space there, but its not gonna gain you much more than an Inch max. I dunno if lowering the motor is an option or not. (could always carb it!)mike

i lowered my motor on my yota so my stock hood would close. it wasnt that hard.
