Need HELP ASAP!!!

I'm right in the middle of putting the front end together to make sure that this truck is going to lay but I think that the lower control arm is binding! I can jack up the control arm and the tire does not even bottom out on the inner fenderwell. Any idea?????????

Did you remove the torsions completely?

yeah there are gone completely!!i think the bottom arm is hitting on the sides of the cross memeber. I have no idea.

Check to see where it could be hitting, and where's Russ-D when you need him LOL

you need to clearance the lower arm cutout to clear the frame. Dont freak out, its perfectly normal.

did youcut the rear of the lower control arm out so it can slide over the lower mount

No i have not messed with the back of the control arm at all. Is this not going to weaken the arm at all??

I forgot to mention that i did flip the balljoints, trim the inner part of the upper arm and thats it.

thousands of mazda's have done it. I've seen people reinforce, and I've seen a lot more left alone. The strength in a stamped part is in the bends anyway.
