now i know how to french the antena but the question that i have is my truck is a daly driver and what happens when the water gets in there i dont whant it to leak in side the cab so how do you drain the water that goes in the hole ?

drill a hole in the bottom of the tube and weld on a small piece of brake line or fuel line and run it out where it hits the ground.

whats the best way to go about frenching an antenna

cut the hole and weld in tubing and cut flush with the body, and make a mount for the antenna assembly

the whole isn't going to be a perfect circle obiously so how do u figure out what shape the whole should be?

you gotta figure out the angle of where its at on the sheetmetal so the tube is str8 up and down..then u can cut the tube the proper angle and then mark your hole with that..its tricky to cut out and do..but worth it...if the sheetmetal is really flat where its going its trickier yet cause the tube wants to hit the inside of the panel and not sit str8
