i have my fourlink, and was gonna put it in today, but gosh dammit. This axle housing flares as it goes inward, and my brackets won't fit... The opening where it goes on the axle ain't matching up with the diameter of the axle... i am pissed, I was planning on having this thing done befor new years, but i can't afford a toyota rear end at the present time.. Sorry guys had to vent a little bit...
just grind the tabs until they fit!
its not that bad...probably take 20 minutes!
no, i want them to fit perfect.. I am just gonna wait til I can get a yota rear..
make a cardboard template of the bracket, then use that template to mark up your cuts that need to be made to make it fit. then transfer the cuts to the metal bracket and then your good to go. why waste money on a yota rear for something that 5 minutes of fab can fix.

i have a yota rearend....but your in georgia and im in cali...
the rearend i have is complete...and collecting dust
BTW....yota rears do the same thing..they get bigger as it gets closer to the pumpkin. :)
try a ford courier rear end, its 6 lug and narrow, you wont have to worry bout converting to 5 lug
well see the thing is I want to convert to 5 lug anyhow... I am just gonna throw one of my mazda rearends under it and run that for now. I already got it ready to be placed in placed for welding up my fourlink mounts...
Damn I love Mitsus. Welcome to the family. They can be a bitch.
Lol get use to shit not always working out on these trucks.
thats probably why there the hardest mini to kustomize. they really don't make sh!t for the trucks, that why you got to kustom fab your own shit. I love mitsu's I plan on building another after I am done with my x-cab. gonna have a fully built turbo engine 2.6 of course. I have owned every model in older and newer years. also in 2wd and 4wd
