well i have my sonoma stored in my basement/garage with my dad's 68 camaro and its all good other than every other day my dad wants to put his truck in there so he can work on it. well to make a long story short, its getting really old having to move all this shit and take the cover on and off of my truck and move it outside in the snow and cold after i just had it painted/shaved. So i just wanted to know if you guys think it would be a good idea to store it in one of those storage building places for the winter time? I have to do something because my dad constantly needs my spot in the garage to work on stuff cause its cold outside and i'm not leavin my shit outside for it to sleet, snow, and rain on.

I would say definitely, the storage place sounds like a good idea, i am having the same problem, we have a place for two cars, one is my moms new gto and the other is my 93 were rebuildin. everyday i catch crap cuz my wrecked project is in the spot where my dad wants to park.

i mean the storage buildings out near my house are really clean and look like they are well taken care of and i think they have cameras. I am going to call tomorrow and see how much it would cost per month to store my noma cause i am afraid it will get scratched up and stuff being in the basement where my dad works.

most storage places like public storage wont let you put cars in there, you will have to find one specially for cars and they are expensive as $h!t, not worth it at all.

i tried to store some jetskis and a quad in a ministorage place and they didnt like that idea..cause of the gas etc. but we did... just dont let em see the truck go in.

syphon the gas out first before storage. That way there wont be any combustables in there.

i had a 10x10' storage unit. it was like $70 a month, and i kept my 4wheeler in it. They were a bit weary of the gas and oil but it wasnt that large of a deal.

I put a car into a storeage last winter. It didnt have a motor so I wasnt real worried about gas. Just take your battery out and try and use all your gas or syphon it out like the others said.

I had to store a motorcycle in a storage unit, and I had to go to like 10 places before I found one to store it for me. I just had to drain the gas, and disconnect the battery. I think it sounds better than dragging it (pun intended) in and out of the garage. ESPECIALLY if you just got it painted. Just my
