BodyDrops? (your opinion)

I'm lookin into bodydroppin my truck (planned on doin it all stockfloor)but my buddy (also the the only guy I'll ever let touch my truck) recommended doin a stockfloor + traditional BD (6" bodydrop to the doors on a taco).To get straight to the point...
IF YOUR GONNA DO A BODYDROP (NOT TOO EXTREME) WOULD YOU GO traditional OR stockfloor? and WHY?

it really depends on what you want man. if you are goin to the door you will be doing a huge in cab or a stock floor and a smaller in cab bd. if you are going mild, do you want to A: build a new set of frame rails, new tranny xmember, new body mounts, etc. etc. or do you want to cut the floor out of your truck, lower the body down and replate a huge curb in your truck, tottally depepnds on what kind of work you guys are wanting/able to do. hope this helps, if not just get a bolt on body drop, a lot easier becuase you just have to "bolt" it on. good luck

stock floor .. looks so clean and you dont lose any room in the cab.. but i would never door a truck IMO.. .they look kinda weierd aird up and rollin and i dont think ive ever seen a true doored truck with a straight non-wavey body pannel.. unless its one that has a 1/4"+ steal plate under the door in the old rocker area for everythign to rest on.. about the only truck i like that is near the doors is Marlonds from but that just my 2 pennys..

well you will have to do some sort of old school method for a 6" bodydrop, no way you can lower the floor 6" without cutting something, because i dont recommend a frame smaller than 2 1/2 x 2 1/2.

Maybe do both, start out with whichever you decide on first and you could even roll around like that while deciding about doing the rest. Youd at least be to the rockers.. then you can door it later. Or you can just do it all at once, I for one just hate being without my truck for so long

if youre goin that much i would just do traditional cause that much less headroom would kick ass
