Started the stock floor
I figured i'd post some pics of the beginning of my new stock floor frame. So far i just welded the 2 upper rails to the crossmember. I'm waiting for my drop spindles and wilwood brakes/hubs so i can make the upper control arm mounts and bag brackets. I'm probably gonna have to lower that crossmember 3/4" to 1" before i start layin down the main rails.
Here is the rest of the jig
You're building the whole thing from scratch, that's awesome, can't wait to see it done. Whats the plans for the rear?
Thanks. Thats a fat man fab front IFS. 52" track width
The rear i'm probably just going with a shortened stock rear end. Probably 3 to 4 inches narrowed on each side. Then 18x10" wheels with 3.5" backspacing. Big lip on the wheels. I think 295/35/18 for tires. The front im using the 18x8 with 4.5" backapacing and 245/40/18.
some more updated pics of the upper control arm mounts and the Wilwood brakes.
that is looking sick, cant wait to see the finished product. good luck and good welds too ya
very nice, I like how you are finish grinding all the welds as you go. I wish I had the time to do that, but I was on borrowed shop space.
Thats fuckin sick man! Whats this going under?
thanks. it's going under an 89 s10 ext cab. Hopefully be drivable for Greenville 06.
