I just got done installing my art arms. When I aired them up i hardly got any lift. At 130psi it just clears the tire on 20's. Any higher pressure it doesnt do anything. Its a 4.3. I'm running conitech 2500 bags. I made a 3" long upper cup. I'm clueless. I wanna be able to lay on 20's. and still be able to clear the fender by atleast 3.5". You think I need 2600 bags. or is my cup too short? I'm very frustrated right now. Give me some good news.

Slams will give you an extra inch.
With the ART's, do you drill your own hole(s) for the lower bag mount? If you do, it may take some messing around to get more lift. Different positions will give you different amounts of leverage...and more or less lift.

they come drilled. so that isn't an option. thanks.

re72 slams will get you alot more lift
so will more presure because they take a ton to get off the ground. You need more trimming of the spring pocket and you need to redrill the lower plate to stagger the bag closer to the spindle and you will lift higher with less psi and get more overall lift.

Wouldn't you get more lift if the bag was closer to the pivot point/frame?

same shit happens to me with 18s and drop spindles. for some reason when i switched to a 175 pressure switch i got more lift which is wierd because a mini should only take like 120 to lock up up front. i have air lifts and suicide cups by the way. are you positive your running at 130. try more psi

yes but if you run a 2600 lb bag it will rub and eventually pop thats why it needs to be staggered closer to the spindle a little. plus you need a bag that big with the heavy front end of the s10 with the v6.

of course this assumes your mounts are the right height and the bags are fully collapsed when the truck is laid out
