does anybody know what valve cover to use on the 2.2 that has the pcv valve on the side,rather than the stockone that sticks out the hood on a body dropped mazda

drop your motor 1/2 inch
no more problem. You wont even have to cut the webbing under your hood.

I have one of the valve covers sitting at my house as a matter of fact. It's really easy to do the motor mount drop too though.

I believe the ones on the side were on the 86&87 models and the ones on the top were for the 88-93. I know that my 86 b2200 has the one on the side and that my 90 and 92 has the one thats on the top

Go to the junk yard, I pick'em up for $10.00 and then polish them. I've got one im working on now. You will find several, and they came on various years. I've got one on my 91 factory! I had to put one on my 93!
