Are these Donks really entering our scene?!?!

i dont dig them at all.

but some of those guys do it right, and spend the money to have it done cleanly.

i sometimes have a hard time coming to grips that im dropping $10-$12k in a truck i spent $300 on to begin with.

$10k buys their wheels and tires that they are putting on an $800 retired cop car, or 78 monte carlo. anyhow, if you look for it, there are nice ones out there. badass built motors, shaved, kandied, with a thought out suspension lift.

as someone said, theres turds in every scene. sometimes if you dont like something, thats all you see b/c thats all you WANT to see.

Don't worry bout these stupid a** cars. They are the rejects of the car world. If you want to call them "custom" only person that thinks they are custom are the rejects drivin these ugly sons of b*tches. It's a huge fad right now but it makes me wonder why they would even take pix of something that stupid lookin and post them on a "custom automobile site." These things aren't no where near custom. I have no idea why anyone would want to be six feet in the air on 30 inch rims and you can't even turn the motherf*cker. This is the unboutably the most stupidest f*ckin car fad out right now. I can't stand these f*ckin cars. If they pay to get in a show whatever it's not my shit people are gonna be makin fun of or look like the reject car of the show. People can do whatever with there rides but I don't have to like the f*cking things. If people think they are custom or like to drive them whatever to each is own. I don't pick at and make fun of no ones ride on here but for these stupid a** cars. I will make an exception. Later Homies!!!!

every picture of a donk is 1 less pic of a mini, there are way too many people building minis to not post ALL minis in show coverage & leave the other crap to the other crap sites

you didnt spend your money on it, so be it. there are a few guys on this site into the lifted cars, so a couple pics here and there shouldnt be detrimental.

amen to that point about one less picture of a truely good ride. I guess thats what buged me when I saw it in the mag. This site I thought was to give a view of mini/car/hotrod style cars. those all have some sort of connection between them aside from just big wheels and the fact that its a car. To each his own. but we need to have a certain amount of pride in the culture and keep it somewhat pure. Keep it custom, keep it safe, keep it real. For the same reason we don't want to see cavalier hopped up on mud tires and all 4x4 look'n except to get a good laugh at. Anyways. (Nick Gets off his soap box)

Since when is it "OUR" scene? If it had originally been "OUR" scene, it would have died. Anyone is welcome to come to any show and show anything they want. Who are we to tell them they can't come and show off something that they enjoy?

It's amazing to see the comments of "unsafe" practices but yet we all support a scene where one drives at 70 mph dragging frame on a highway throwing up sparks. I wouldn't personally build a ride like this(donk); however you will always have a group of people talking bad about another group.

If you have been in the scene long enough you start to tolerate some stuff that comes around. You don't have to support it but you tolerate it.
