I don't want to be a hater, but there probably will be no comparison between an art morrison or autoweld frame, and a minitrucker built to order one. Mandrel bent rails, engineering time (FEA, CAD, and other fun stuff), TIG welded..
Awesome concept, 6K isnt bad at all if the quality is up there, but I wouldn't want to take on the liability from a business perspective when somebody can't register their truck with one of your frames, and they come after you in court for the costs.
To be positive though, It looks like you do clean ass work judging from some of the pics in your profile. Keep it up, ya never know.
and thats the reason krz went under i have one of there frames i am repairing,no lift in the front and split in half how about that? 6k isnt bad as long as they are tested.
Could be a cool idea. 6k is cheap, there would be lots of specifics for an owner to work out, but 6k for all that, killer deal. Make it happen!
I think the main problem behind this is that people dont understand that nothing is indestructable. I get people all the time comin through the shop with lift kits that i put on saying"My ball joint are messed up or my shocks are blown out." I go look at there truck an it looks like they jumped it off of a cliff and its covered in mud. I just have to warranty all the parts. Make the manufature look bad. Just somthing to consider. oh ya and saying that your frame is worth more than the whole truck is not justafiable. Ive got more than my trucks worth just in tires.

Ok your right they have bent rails (morrison, autoweld, etc) They are made of 11ga material. Ours are 3/16 on minis and 1/4 on full size. I am not getting in a pissing contest here. This is what we can offer. We have done the s-10 clips and nissan plus yota. So we have the experiance in all of them. Plus our own front suspension isnt really comparable to anything but the mustang II. I will have prices on all stages of completion here soon. Plus we do have a really long time in this and our rear suspension designs. We take our jobs seriously around here..
SEAN good luck to you. We have been toying around with the same idea for a while. I also remember something in one of the print mags a while ago selling complete frame kits. Good Luck. and if you are going to offer anytype of Dealer or Distributor rates let me know thanks
KEEP shipping in mind guys. a buddy of mine bought a bad habit silverado chassis. it cost him $1800 in shipping alone. bhc & my friend worked for almost a month getting shipping quotes. there was no way around it.
good luck, just an fyi.
