Well, my situation is a little different than most suspension shops. Im collision shop that does custom suspension/restoration/custom body work on the side. When my customers drop their car off, they are very aware of our other commitments. The only thing that would put a customers custom project on the back burner, would be an ass load of collision work, and that would only be for a week or so at the most. Some shops have other commitments like we do, some dont. Just make sure your aware of that, and even ask that particular question.

just remember, THAT KIND OF WORK TAKES TIME. This is'nt Overhaulin, Chip and A.J. and the other guy are'nt working on your ride with 100 volunteers 24 hours a day to get it done in a week. I did'nt appreciate just how much time went into doing the simplest things untill my buddy helped me do mine. If i'm doing something simple, i'll guess how long i think it should take me and add 3 hours, and i'm usually pretty close. But yeah, like these guys said, better to pay about 2g's down, then the rest when it's done. That way, whoever's working on it does'nt get lacksodasical because they're already paid in full. Congrats on the future bd, though, i wish i was as close to mine as you are.

i know good work does take time, and im a very patient man........i think....i work for a off-road shop and we get customers all the time who want a complete sand car in 3 weeks, but with all the fab time and other cars its impossible, so i know exactly what your saying......whats really funny though is that my truck looks almost exactly as yours w/o the valence.

leet auto design is still around? i haven't seen that name come up in awhile. see if you can at least get a quote in writing. there's IF, Devious, Go-EZ, Sadistic, Chassis by Aaron Iha to choose from. i'd talk to as many shops as possible before settling. you're going to be spending a lot of money, so you want to make the right choice. good luck.
