Tell miller to come fix the welder for you. or return it for a new one. they should warrant a 1 year warranty at least on a new welder. Sounds like you have checked everything over, could be something internally wrong with the welder.

The guys at Miller said I need to try a different whip that I am positive works correctly before they will do anything for me.

Well I just got off the phone with Quimby. Since none of the local service centers will work on it for the warantee, they said thyey would do it, and they will bill Miller for the shipping to and from them. Said I will be out of a welder for roughly 10-14 days. So I guess thats the best I can do.

I just got new wire a few days ago. I have gone through roughly 6-7 spools of wire with the same results, and almost as many tanks of gas. Its not a bad batch of either.

I don't even have the Toyota anymore. Lol.

I borrowed my friends whip on the way home from class tonight, because the guy at Miller was dead set that was the problem. So I'm gonna try that tomorrow (after class....) and see if it works. If not, its going back to them for repair. And I'll be without a welder for a few weeks.

Fuck.
