Well my new 8" rear end is together, I did take some pics I will try to post - it is so easy to do, maybe took me 2hrs.

One thing I did different is I took the stock diff pin and ground / cut it till it fit inside the LSD diff splines, this is the spacer needed for the axles to butt up against in the diff.

I have a question, a 1986 RX7 GSL with limited slip, would this LSD be compatible with a B2200, since it is a non turbo motor, and the tranny is the same as a B2200 (IE smaller driveshaft).

I have a line on a 1984 Mazda RX7. Ratio-3.9 LSD
would this work in my 1992 B2600i 4x4 ?
I'm sure i can do anyof the mods that may be needed, but i want to know if it is possible before i start

I know the 84' would fit in a B2200 but not sure about B2600.

Here is some info I found from another Mazda forum:

Differential shaft diameters and splines:
7" small axle = 25mm x 24 spline (808, RX-3, 79-83 RX-7)
7" large axle = 27mm x 26 spline
7" S2000 = 29mm x 28 spline
7.5" small axle = 27mm x 26 spline '84-03 B2000/B2200 & early 95-97 Sportage
7.5" large axle = 29mm x 28 spline ('98-05 Sportage)
8" = 31mm x 30 spline. TT/TII/929

Hmmm
sadly i don't have any of my manuals or anything here, and don't know enough about it to know what is in a 2600

He's only asking 20 bucks for it
for that price i may just get it anyway

if anyone knows for sure whether this would fit, please let me know !

I did some more reading on this and I don't think that one will work for your application. According to the How-to thread below, you would need an 86-88 Turbo II carrier for the B2600.

Edit: lol I just realized I posted the first page to this same thread. First post says it all.

now, i don't know alot about how these lsds work, but could i switch out the gearing to use the clutch of the lsd in my old Diff ?
from what i understand, it's mostly the splines and diameter that don't match right ?
could i swap that stuff out from my current diff ?

Just throwing it out there, i suspect not, but doesn't hurt to ask !

i think i have a similar question. is it possible to sway JUST the LSD, not the entire 3rd member? this way you wouldn't have to modify the drive line. and assembling a diff. is no problem, i've done it many time.
