They come pretty long and need to be trimmed to fit better. They should be as short as possible without the bag rubbing.

Don't remove it!
It's called the radius rod, and it stabilizes the lower control arm.
If you take it out, you won't be able to drive your truck.
Hitting the brake pedal with it removed will twist the whole suspension out.

Do i need to cut the upper control arm to lay frame on caddy 17" wheels with 45 series tire and do i need to do the ball joint flip to lay frame.

Quick question need a reply asap, I bagged my truck but it's not laying out; I have to flip balljoints still, not sure what would cause me not to lay out, the tire isn't even in the fender yet and the bag isn't collapsed on itself completely.

Could be ball joints binding or the lower control arms could be hitting. I had to cut a bunch out of mine to get it to lay out

Would be a lot easier to figure out if he would just post pics

I'll go take some pics, and post em up shortly. I have to trim the lca I know, i think the balljoints may be binding to; the guy that helped fucked the upper balljoint I can see the shaft the rubber guard is gone but I already bought some from advance this morning.
