im going to be doing this probably this weekend, we already have the upper control arms taken off , since my truck was bagged by the previous owner in the front i just need to cut off the existing bag brackets sicne they were modified to fit a shock in order to get the truck to pass safety.

i noticed dev said not to cut into the frame. i am running slam specialties RE7s in the front so i dont think the airbag will fit without notching it im running 18s right now but eventually 22s so ill try to save the sway bar n show u guys pictures of how i did it

So today i removed the bracket to mount the upper control arm on the drivers side ,worked on it for about two hours
everything is flush with the side of the frame, next step is to figure out how to make the airbag fit RE7`s are a little bigger aha

I am layed out on 18's with a pie cut and rewelded lower arm and flipped ball joints and i run a sway bar with no modification other than new shorter mounting hardware for sway bar ends.....no binding nor any lock to lock interference issues with sway bar...I will take some pics of it to archive on this thread for future reference.....my fab looks almost like scrapins....but like i said i am running a sway bar and the triangualtion bar...

by the way nice weldinfg on those mounts ....if thats wire feed nice it almost looks like tig......

i been rocking my front set up for ten plus years with only one issue of the lower passenger mount being to close to spindle and rubbing a hole in the bag....cutmount off lower and moved in 1/4 all better for last 7 years...

not fun to have a blow out bag at highway speed, coule bolts ruined a brand new front tire...
