Front setup includes 225 40R18 tires. Pic shows swaybar (the dirty unpainted piece) with aftermarket end links. The LCA in the pic has been modified to put the end link mount on the LCA in a different place than stock (higher).

The pic also shows my cheesy spacer between the LCA and the strut rod. As the center link is moved back and forth (steering) it would hit the strut rod when fully layed out. The spacer helped.

Also, because of the lower ball joint relocation, I extended the spindle stops up so that I could control the lock to lock so that the rim would not hit the lower shock mount.

Also on my to do list is to reinforce the upper bag mount. I guess the gray hairs got the better of me that day.

One more note: the frame is actually up about 1/2" so I could get the camera under there LOL. It does go all the way down.

Lots of good info guys, my question is that it appeared that my upper ball joints were binding so I undid them and the truck then layed out, for the most part, I do need to cut some fenders out, so how much do I need to cut out for a pie cut? Just what was shown in the picture or some more running 18's with 215/35
thanks

Have you flipped the ball joints? If not you will need to. Then follow the write-up on bending the upper arm to accommodate the angle.

The upper control arm in the picture was used to lay frame on 18's with a 225/35 tire...

Hope this helps!

My lower one is flipped so I should do the upper one as well? and then cut ?
Thanks

Correct! Flip the upper as well and cut the upper arm as pictured above, bend it, then re-weld it!

if you flip uppers and lowers can yo still run a 15 inch rim or will it rub?

bump for the rub question??

I ran stock 14s with my upper and lower ball joints flipped with no rub issues so with 15s u would definitely be good. The only time u would come across rubbing issues is if u change the lower ball joint from pointing down to pointing up and then u need a 16" wheel or bigger i believe.
