You don't add shims you take out shims.

adding will push the top of the tire back out..taking out will pull the top of tire in...out better camber,in bad camber... you want to try and get the tires straight up and down as you can that way it wont wear on one side

your arms are completely different than mine then. My arm is mounted to the inside toward engine. If you add shims on mine you are putting them between arm mount and frame thus pushing arm into the engine, adding more negative camber. By taking out shims my arms move toward the outside of the truck thus getting camber more straight.

this isnt mine but its the same princible. You can see where the shims are and what would happen if they were added.

I hear you. If I hadn't done it myself I wouldn't have said it. I've seen several people post that you add shims though and it got me wondering if they but their arms to the outside.

Does anyone know if the lower ball joints that come with drop spindals, have to be threaded to put the stock bolts in?

I bought a set of 2" drop spindals, which came with the lower ball joints, but there is no thread where it bolts on to the lca?

it uses a bolt and nut setup to bolt them to the lca
