ok, so i have a 1983 chev s-10. now i am getting ready to bag the front of it on friday. i have my bags, cups, line's, switches, all the goodies are sitting in the closet at my place. but what i was wondering is. when i bag the front of it, is there any thing i need to cut out, or should every thing be able to fit into place for the time being? i just need to get it done, i have been sitting on it now for about 6 months, and just have not been able to get into the mind set to do it, now i am and want it done bad, and I AM going to do it MY SELF, that is my goal. so if any one has any advise on doing it, let me know. e-mail me at xSDIMEx@gmail.com.....please help!?

yeah, i have 2500 for the front, and as far as welding the cups in, these are old skewl cups that i got from a friend who i gues originally got the from chassis tech,a nd he had them on his truck for a number of years, and had no problems with them. but when u say nothing out the controll arms, where and how much. that is waht i am really confused on.

umm no.

for an s-10, youll need to trim the spring pockets quite a bit if you are using 2600s. for 2500s, i think you'll just need to trim off the lip of the pocket. easy with a cutoff wheel. everything else falls together. depending on where you got your cups, theyll bolt in or just set in. its pretty cake.

my cups just dolt in....but as far as trimming the spring pockets, are you talking, trimming the insides of them out so the cups and bags will clear?

what size wheels/tires? on your lower control arms there are humps you need to flatten out somehow. and you need to trim your spring pocket. and depending on your wheel tire combo you may have issues with your inner fenders. also tie rods may be an issue.

you'll see what im talking about when you pull the wheel off. where the spring sets into the frame, the pocket will roll in toward the spring a little bit. you'll need to trim that off so it doesnt rub the bag.
