i just got a pair of h-4 sylvania silverstars. im not impressed at all with them. i spent like $35 on them (on sale) and look like a std replacement bulb. the Nokya lights i had for 4 years before looked way better. anyone else have this issue with them? i was under the impression that the silverstars were the closest thing to HID with a incandecent (sp) bulb.
i was thinking maybe they need a better circuit than my factory one, but i dont wanna go thru the hassle of wiring up 4 relays and what not, and it look exactly the same
i put em in my pup and it was night and day difference from stock i love em but then again i wasnt going for hid look i knew they wouldnt compare but they are bright as shit on the lowbeam setting
yea,
they look like std lights to me. no diff than a stock civic.
is there a difference between h-4 and 9004 lights? the plugs and mounting bases are the same
do they usually have a bluish color light?
cuz mine dont.
my nokya were like 95 watts lowbeams, and i didnt have any problems w/ wiring. i figure the 55watt bulb would be fine, but ive been wrong before.
i put em in my 2000 civic SIR,i love em, sooo damn bright..
nah its kinda pinkish purple like real hids
they work better in clear headlights not the white non clear lookin ones...
