drag blocks, poles, basketball hoops, draggers

i just left a local hangout where a little drag session was planned out. i am very discusted with the amount of gayness and 4x4 looking trucks draggin things hanging from the bottom of there trucks..infact there was a ranger there that had a piece of metal hanginf from the middle of the fram more then 6 inches high...last time i checked if your frame isnt very low if its 6 inches off the ground...my question is how do u get enough lift to drive with the shark fin hanging. but over all i was one of 5 people draggin frame or body out of over 30 trucks. and draggin the back half of ur roll pan with the front 4 feet in the air dosent count....if u cant drag at least frame the dont drag beacuse u are gay.

NO...Now wait damnit, I drag the shit out of my rear bumper with the front end up, but only because I've dragged all the way up to the bolt and through the bushings of my radius arm mounts.

i agree. i was at one in orlando last night and i saw very similar. i wasnt shooting hella sparks, but dammit it was my frame not 6" extensions of my frame. at most, plate the frame with some 3/8" steel or something, but gargantuan contraptions are stupid.

I know I used to question people for bashing drag blocks and get aggrivated.

But with the stuff I've seen at the last couple shows I've began to say fuck a drag block or whatever the hell gets mounted under a frame rail to throw sparks, 4" + shit hanging under a frame , it's getting ridiculous, takes the whole point of dragging to lameness sometimes. Drag blocks are to minitrucking, as Burger King is to cows.

i hate drag blocks, always have. I feel like that the person couldn't get it to lay out and was taking the easy way out. BUT i learned something lately, i can relate to the people using them on there nice painted bodydrop trucks so they can drag there shit and not fuck up there body. There is a limit though, anything over 3" hanging below is fucking gay as fuck, it is GAY GAY GAY. The people driving with there front all the way up and dragging ass is cool as long as they lay out. Thats my 2 cents

Hahaha that shit is ridiculous. I drag frame but i tacked sum 1/4 plates so I wouldnt fuk up my frame. I mean there jus plates, one of my friends is about 2" from the ground so he jus welded a big ass piece of metal that was bigger than 2" down so hed dragg the shit out of the block. Haha he wouldnt lay frame on 20's he lay big ass piece of metal on 20's

I use small titanium blocks cause I dont give a fuck. I like the way that shit looks. If you use them cause your shit doesnt lay then thats different. But what the hell is wrong with using blocks if youre tired of draggin your frame?

I have some 1/4 plate on the bottom of mine, but that is just to keep from draggin thru my frame. I think anything over 1 inch is kinda overkill.
