Sweet Snake. I never thought of doing that. I got an old S10 model that I never finished building that would be perfect for a hide for my snake cage. What kind of snake is that? I got a ball python on the way. Also... that bedding looks like reptibark. Be careful with that it may have mites in it.

Aspen bedding is probably the best... Also I would use a provent-a-mite or something like that... They run about $20 a can but is well worth if... when you have a prized collection, but for your everyday pet it might be overkill.

I've had my first corn's home bedded with ReptiBark for over a year now.. I havent noticed any mites.. this rat snake (caught him in my yard) only had him for about a month. I will definitely take more caution now with the bedding, so thanks for the warning! I keep this one at a different house than the other 2 corns right now until I can have him checked at the reptile vet for mites, etc. It's cool to see some other snake owners here on SSM. Later guys

Yea Jeremy (White99Z) is right that shit has mites in it. I had a ball python and put that bark in and he got infested with mites! Anyways that looks bitchen you should finish the model it would look cooler! Peace
